As a mental health counselor, I understand the importance of finding a safe and supportive space to work through personal struggles and challenges. I believe in the power of collaboration and mutual respect in helping individuals achieve their therapeutic goals.
With a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Roosevelt University and several years of experience across clinical settings, I’ve developed a compassionate and client-centered approach to therapy. My work focuses on building a strong therapeutic relationship with my clients, providing a safe, non-judgmental, and empathetic environment.
I conduct my sessions through a multicultural, and person-centered framework, with a specialization in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). My ultimate goal is to support my clients in achieving a greater sense of self-awareness, improving their emotional well-being and enhancing their overall quality of life. With DBT, I can help clients live in the moment, regulate their emotions, develop coping mechanisms for stress, and improve interpersonal relationships by offering teachable, practical skills and concepts. I hope to empower my clients to trust and validate themselves with the belief that change is possible.
I’m passionate about working with adolescents and young adults, as well as individuals belonging to the LGBTQIA2S+ community. My clinical experience includes helping individuals with mood and personality disorders, interpersonal relationships, and those who have experienced domestic and intimate partner violence, as well as helping people heal from racial and gender-based trauma.
